Science- Digestive SystemMy Question is: What are those curly brown things?My Hypothesis: I think that is where the food goes ad it gets digested …. then the leftovers (faeces) comes out.I now think: I now think that the curly brown things are your intestines that digest your food. Science-Muscular SystemMy Question is: Why do we need so many muscles? My Hypothesis: My hypothesis is that we wouldn’t be able to move or carry heavy things. If we didn’t have muscles how would we build a shelter and actually stay alive?! I now think: Well……. Muscles Move You!!! Without muscles you would not be able to do very much. Actually you wouldn’t be able to do ANYTHING!! We wouldn’t be able to shake hands, speak, close your eyes, open your mouth and everything else! Science-Skeletal SystemMy question is ” Why do we have so many bones?”My hypothesis is that if we didn’t have bones we wouldn’t be able to do anything! Could we walk? Never! Could we run? No way! With no bones with have no muscles to do anything. Bones make our body have a shape that’s why they all have different shapes and sizes! What would we do if we had no bones??!! Absolutely NOTHING! I now think that we really need bones and that we would be nothing without bones! Life would so boring if were just in the same old place every year of your life! Miranda and I made an iMovie about how we have both adapted from living in the U.S to living now in a hot and dry country called Thailand… We are not the only ones to have done this project! 11 other schools have done this “ Life ‘Round Here Project” with us!! I learned that when you actually read your script to record your voice you have to talk really loudly and clearly… You also need emotion to not make it sound like you are reading from the script because then it would get boring talking the whole time with the same tone. I learned that you should try to not have any background noises because then if you hear a loud “BOOM” in the background when someone is talking it would confuse you and mess up the movie. I learned about that working as a team isn’t the easiest thing! Miranda and I had to agree on which parts we were going to say and we wanted to be sure we both had the same amount of parts to make it fair. TEAMWORK! I learned a lot also about how OTHER people in my class have adapted and it was really interesting because we didn’t adapt in the same way and from the same places. I learned a lot more about how I myself have adapted to Thailand from Atlanta! When I first move here I never really thought about adaptation and what it really was! Now I understand a lot more! You always need to gather all the sources from all of your pictures because if you don’t do that some people might not believe that it is the actual picture they might think you just took it to make it pretend it was the real thing… It is also important because f someone is doing a project similar to yours and they really like the picture you took they might want to use it but they can’t do it unless you put the sources because otherwise they will have no clue where you got it from!>
I love “The Boxcar Children” are very good books! They are all about mysteries and adventure. So if you are like me interested in mysteries and adventure books i suggest you check them out! Its a fun series talking about 4 children who’s parents have died and their grandfather finds them in the woods where they have started their own life living in a Boxcar. The author is Gertrude Chandler Warner. I hope you get a chance to read these really good books.
